Miles Megaciph, chief executive officer at Megaciph, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Artists for dedication, achievements, and leadership in the Music Industry.

Mr. Megaciph, a dedicated musician and entrepreneur, has established a distinguished career in the industry, marked by innovation, leadership and a commitment to social impact. Since 2006, he has served as the chief executive officer of Megaciph, where he has been recognized for his expertise as a recording artist, repertoire specialist and music artist. His work is defined by a focus on human rights, deliberately avoiding themes of misogyny, materialism and militarism. Through his music, Mr. Megaciph seeks to liberate the human spirit and improve the human condition.

Over the course of two decades in this role, Mr. Megaciph has demonstrated an exceptional ability to write songs rapidly under pressure, craft memorable hooks and song lines, and captivate audiences during live performances. He has also developed a unique skill set in teaching other artists how to command attention on stage.

A significant milestone in Mr. Megaciph’s career was the founding of Vital Movement in New York City in 2010. As the creator and host of this open mic showcase, he curated weekly events featuring diverse performers and facilitated freestyle sessions. Over two and a half years, he collaborated with numerous artists and honed his skills as both an organizer and mentor. In 2012, Mr. Megaciph brought Vital Movement to Atlanta, Georgia, where he operated it for more than a year. The initiative is currently on hiatus as he prepares to relaunch it at Dope Coffee’s new café in downtown Atlanta.

In addition to his work with Megaciph and Vital Movement, Mr. Megaciph is the chief executive officer at Dope Coffee Music Group. His responsibilities include bringing artists to the platform, creating performance spaces, expanding national tours and developing talent for the music group. Both Mr. Megaciph and the company’s founders leverage their shared experience as U.S. Marine Corps veterans to create unique opportunities that bridge veteran communities with hip-hop culture, achieving global presence with products available in 1,500 Kroger stores, connections on the West Coast and partnerships with U.S. Marine Corps exchange bases.

Mr. Megaciph’s professional journey began with service in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1992 to 1996. During his military tenure, he developed his rapping skills and learned to set poetry to rap, a foundation that would later influence his artistic direction.

Before attending college, Mr. Megaciph began collaborating with live bands, writing songs, performing extensively and working alongside notable producers. His academic background includes a Bachelor of Science in rhetoric and composition with studies in writing and English, and a minor in music management, from Georgia State University in 2006, and a master’s degree in nonprofit, public and organizational management from The New School in 2010.

Active in civic engagement, Mr. Megaciph has served as a teaching artist at Harlem Children’s Zone and as a volunteer with organizations such as We Are Not Your Soldiers and Veterans for Peace. He has also contributed by educating students about life as a soldier, drawing from his own military experience.

Mr. Megaciph’s creative output includes “The Graduate Program,” an important publication in his discography that he began working on while pursuing his undergraduate degree, marking the start of his professional recording career. Since then, he has released multiple albums, including one written during the birth of his first child, and is currently working on his eighth album.

Attributing his success to maintaining a positive mindset, Mr. Megaciph also notes his perseverance and unwavering dedication to his work. By staying connected with local communities wherever he resides, he remains attuned to cultural trends while fostering meaningful engagement within each city’s creative landscape.

Looking ahead, Mr. Megaciph aims to bring at least three world-class artists, including himself, to the global stage. He aspires to earn a Grammy Award and perform on some of the world’s largest stages while establishing himself among top-tier artists. Additionally, Mr. Megaciph plans to successfully create, host and run both national and international tours that begin in East Africa, travel through Europe, and conclude in Asia.
