Since 2006, Mr. Messerschmidt has been at the helm of MOD Creatives Inc. as the company’s owner, art director and designer. For the past two decades, he has been leading art direction and creative execution across diverse client portfolios, scaling teams and resources to meet evolving project demands. He has also been responsible for building comprehensive brand and marketing systems, including identity development, logo design, custom infographics, marketing collateral, trade-show experiences, and website user interface and user experience. Mr. Messerschmidt’s leadership extends to designing C-level presentations and pitch decks that strengthen executive alignment and elevate client-facing communications. Under his guidance, MOD Creatives Inc. has secured high-level contracts with major corporations, such as Intel and Microsoft, positioning the firm at the forefront of digital and medical technology design.

In 2023, Mr. Messerschmidt began contributing his expertise as a presentation and graphic designer for Freeman+Leonard, delivering tailored solutions for clients seeking impactful visual storytelling. The company specializes in on-demand marketing and creative staffing solutions for companies and agencies. Further contributing to his current success, Mr. Messerschmidt began serving as a presentation and graphic designer for Evercore, where he continues to deliver high-impact visual communications for various audiences.

Apart from these professional ventures, Mr. Messerschmidt was affiliated with Prowess Consulting from 2019 to 2024 in a similar capacity, supporting their marketing initiatives through innovative design strategies. Between 2013 and 2024, he served as a contract PowerPoint and graphics designer for CMD. Concurrently, Mr. Messerschmidt devoted over a decade to Vitamin T as a contract PowerPoint and graphics designer, further expanding his influence within the industry, starting in 2013.

Among other influential opportunities, Mr. Messerschmidt worked for companies like Adidas (Roundhouse Design) and Nike (Here Now), where he was instrumental in creating branded materials that resonated with global audiences. He also excelled at 16 Copenhagen, Microsoft and Microsoft Advertising, N2ITIVE INC., MOD Creatives Inc. and HP, as well as Right Brain Resource and AngelVision Technologies. Mr. Messerschmidt’s career history dates back to 2000, when he first joined Webridge as an assistant art director, where he gained hands-on experience in presentation design, user interface development and brand strategy.

In preparation for his future, Mr. Messerschmidt earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in graphic and multimedia design from Pacific Northwest College of Art at Willamette University in Portland, Oregon, in 1999. His education provided him with both technical skills and an appreciation for the cultural dimensions of design, a perspective shaped by his upbringing in Kathmandu, Nepal, where he attended school from age 4 until 19.

Mr. Messerschmidt’s early professional journey began with a six-month internship at Sign Makers Private Ltd. in Nepal, where he designed billboards for local clients while training staff on equipment use. This experience solidified his commitment to design excellence. A subsequent two-month study visa granted Mr. Messerschmidt access to Bhutan, where immersion in Buddhist mysticism and ancient art inspired research into Nyingma Buddhism, a theme later integrated into his thesis.

Mr. Messerschmidt’s expertise has led to numerous speaking engagements, most notably at the Conscious Life Expo in February 2025, where he delivered a well-attended lecture on esoteric knowledge. This subject bridged his professional work with personal research interests. Mr. Messerschmidt has also participated in podcasts, been featured in Awakened Magazine through an interview with Hans Dietrich and appeared on Jimmy Church’s radio show “Fade to Black.”

Active in his professional community, Mr. Messerschmidt is a member of the Graphic Artists Guild. Civically invested, he is active in the Northshore Off-Road Bicycling Association (NORBA). He also provides support as a donor to the Maui Food Bank.

Recognizing gaps in traditional curricula, particularly in design theory and history, Mr. Messerschmidt created an educational course. He also authored a book to guide business owners and designers through essential concepts such as color theory, typography and brand development. Mr. Messerschmidt’s passion for symbology is also reflected in another publication, “The Magic of Symbols,” which explores the significance of symbols in design.

In recognition of his contributions, Mr. Messerschmidt and his company, MOD Creatives Inc., received the Technology Provider Award from Intel Corporation in 2017. His career is distinguished not only by his technical proficiency but also by his dedication to advancing design education.
