Title: Musician
Location: Baltimore, Maryland, United States
Patricia Arlene Wilson Cutchember, MSAOM, LAc, a musician, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Artists for dedication, achievements, and leadership in the music industry.
A lifelong adherent to the art of music, Ms. Cutchember has found success through her talent as a classical musician and pianist. Beginning her first lessons at the age of four, she went on to receive training from A. Jack Thomas, the first African-American conductor of the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra, Gail Hutchins, a classically trained trumpet player, and Charles Covington, a distinguished professor at Peabody University. Starting from an early age, Ms. Cutchember earned distinction as a mentor in her own right, offering music lessons and eventually serving as a band director. Over the span of five decades of dedication to music, she is most proud to have performed alongside the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra, where she distinguished herself by fully applying the lessons she had learned under the tutelage of others.
Outside of her primary career efforts, Ms. Cutchember also worked for more than a decade as a practitioner of oriental medicine, initially as a means of improving her own health and wellness. Throughout the first five years of this experience, she benefited richly from the mentorship of Dr. Ian Noel. Despite being one of only two women he taught on a weekly basis, she alone emerged as his foremost student. Encouraged by his support, Ms. Cutchember enrolled at Arirang University, where she went on to learn more of the field and earned a Master of Science in acupuncture. Looking toward the future, she aspires to construct a residence on her four-acre property, through which she can establish an office that will offer her expertise in both the medical and musical domains.
