Mr. Robinson began his career in the advertising and marketing sector, working for such companies as Landor Associates between 2000 and 2003, Publicis between 2003 and 2007, AKQA between 2007 and 2011, Epsilon between 2012 and 2013, between 2013 and 2014, BlackRock between 2014 and 2015, DocuSign between 2016 and 2017, Jobvite in 2017, and UCSF Health between 2018 and 2020. In 2020, he opened R3 Colorings – Fine Art, Fashion & More, where he dedicates his artistic talents to abstract art renderings on apparel, earning spots in prestigious art shows and galleries. He became a Paint n’ Sip Event Host and Instructor for Paint the Town in 2021 as a retirement side job.
Crediting his passion for art to his grandparents, who were professional artists, Mr. Robinson took that energy and applied himself to the study of marketing and art design at the University of Oregon between 1996 and 1998. In 1999, he obtained an Associate of Arts in design and applied arts from the University of Oregon. Wanting to further his career ambitions, he earned a Bachelor of Arts in business and marketing with a minor in art and design from the University of Washington in 2000. Mr. Robinson cites winning Artist of the Week in first grade as the pinnacle of his success.
