Mr. Brodbeck’s journey beyond photography encompasses service in the United States Navy as an electronic warfare operator during the Vietnam War. Today, aside from pursuing his passion for capturing national parks and wildlife, he cherishes moments from his grandchildren’s sporting events. Moreover, Mr. Brodbeck’s family shares his passion, with his wife’s artwork featured in galleries on Mackinac Island, and his son, an engineer at Ford Motor Company, collaborating on photography projects that expanded their joint portfolio, covering sporting events at Western Michigan University.
