Jimmy R. Chiappa, Artist at Jimmy’s Artistic Creations, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Artists for dedication, achievements, and leadership in sculpting and carving.

With years of experience to his credit, Mr. Chiappa has excelled as an artist with Jimmy’s Artistic Creations in East Rutherford, New Jersey since 1996. In this position, he has crafted carvings for “The Sopranos,” “Law & Order,” “Men in Black,” “Spin City,” and “Sex and the City,” among other film and television projects, as well as for concerts featuring artists such as Bruce Springsteen, Motley Crue, The Rolling Stones, Bon Jovi, and Little Richard, to name a few. For 10 years, he found success as a chef for the Four Seasons Restaurant in New York, preparing meals for celebrities including Dolly Parton, Joan Rivers, Barbara Walters, Paul Newman, and Liza Minnelli. Mr. Chiappa previously worked in an Italian restaurant in Lyndhurst, New Jersey for more than four years and in Rutherford House in East Rutherford, New Jersey for four years.

Beyond his primary responsibilities within the field, Mr. Chiappa has participated in numerous endeavors outside of his immediate circles. As a volunteer, he contributes to local churches in his spare time. He has also served as a public speaker at engagements at multiple vocational schools in his area. Moreover, Mr. Chiappa takes pride in introducing underprivileged and at-risk youth to opportunities in the food service industry in order to deter delinquency.

In light of his impressive undertakings, Mr. Chiappa was featured as “The Person of the Week” in the New York Times at the age of 35 and has been highlighted on the cover of many local newspapers. He likewise appeared on such television shows as “Cake Boss” and “The View.” Notably, he produced 4,000 pounds of sculptures for the final retirement event on the USS John F. Kennedy (CV-67) and achieved a personal record of sculpting 53 ice carvings within a span of 24 hours. Mr. Chiappa has attributed his success through his dedication, hard work, and unrelenting perseverance.

Beginning his career at the age of 13, Mr. Chiappa secured global acclaim by the age of 20 as the chef at the Four Seasons Restaurant, all the while accommodation dishes for hundreds of guests per night. However, a chance meeting with a sculptor from Atlantic City decided to shift his attention from the restaurant business to sculpting and, eventually, ice sculpting. With a prolific career in sculpting in the years since, he currently carves ice for such regional sports teams as the New York Jets, the New York Giants, the New York Yankees, and the New Jersey Devils. Looking toward the future, Mr. Chiappa hopes to maintain his health, wealth and happiness in the coming years.
