Harry T. Burleigh III, Owner and Fine Artist at Artful Kryptonite, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Artists for dedication, achievements and leadership in Fine Arts and Television Production.

Mr. Burleigh has established a distinguished career spanning three decades, marked by expertise in television production. Since 1996, he has served as a senior systems analyst under a corporate contract with the U.S. Government in Washington, D.C. In this capacity, Mr. Burleigh provides critical television production support for presidential cabinet members and other dignitaries, ensuring seamless broadcast operations for high-profile events. His responsibilities include the technical direction of live and recorded broadcasts, often requiring rapid coordination with public affairs teams to facilitate real-time or delayed transmissions across multiple locations domestically and internationally. This role demands adaptability and precision, qualities that have defined Mr. Burleigh’s professional approach.

In addition to his government work, Mr. Burleigh is the owner and fine artist at Artful Kryptonite, a position he has held since 2005. Through this venture, he has achieved international recognition for his artwork, which has been exhibited in digital and physical galleries across several countries. Notable milestones include participation in the Art Takes Times Square digital art event in 2012 and features in prominent exhibitions, such as the New York International Art Festival in 2006, Expo Metro group exhibitions in London in 2019, Monaco and New York in 2021, and Los Angeles in 2022, M.A.D.S. Art Gallery’s international contemporary art exhibitions in Milan in 2020 and 2021, as well as the Onboard Art Exhibition with Vueling Airlines in 2024. Mr. Burleigh’s work was also showcased at the EuropArtFair in Amsterdam in 2004 and most recently at Agora Gallery’s COLOR INFERNO Exhibition in 2025.

Earlier in his career, Mr. Burleigh worked in West Virginia within a biomedical communications department from 1984 to 1992. There, he documented and edited open heart surgeries, some of which were accepted by the American College of Surgeons, and produced videos on ambulance services and drug enforcement operations in collaboration with the Department of Public Safety. This period provided Mr. Burleigh with significant experience in field production.

Notably, in 1993, Mr. Burleigh contributed to Royal Caribbean’s video department aboard the Monarch of the Seas, traveling between Old San Juan, Puerto Rico, and Barbados. He subsequently served as an associate producer for WNPB, a Public Broadcasting Service station in Morgantown, West Virginia, before freelancing for several months for New Jersey companies based in Manhattan, New York, and working on projects in Brooklyn, New York.

Mr. Burleigh’s academic foundation includes a Bachelor of Fine Arts from West Virginia University in Morgantown, completed in 1983. His formal education provided the artistic grounding that would later inform both his creative pursuits and technical roles. Mr. Burleigh further enhanced his skill set by earning a certification in the use, maintenance and operation of Steadicam from the International Film and Television Workshops in Rockport, Maine, between 1988 and 1991. This specialized training enabled him to excel in dynamic television production environments.

An accomplished author, Mr. Burleigh published “A Muse Meant For You!: Burleigh’s Rules of Creative Engagement for Aspiring Painters” through Artful Kryptonite. Released in 2025, the book was designed for those interested in pursuing fine art painting.

Throughout his career, Mr. Burleigh has received numerous accolades recognizing both his artistic talent and professional contributions. Among these are the Grand Jury Award for Theosophical Surrealism at the New York International Art Festival in 2006, a Second Place Awards from American Art Awards for “Morning Light” and “FAB!” in 2016, a Special Recognition from Light Space Time’s Primary Colors Art Exhibition for “A Fetching Breeze” and “All the Rave” in 2020, and, among others, a Collector’s Legacy Impact Award from Art Tour International in 2025. Besides these honors, Mr. Burleigh’s insights have been featured by Circle Foundation for the Arts’ Masterful Minds 5: Artists to Watch and on Art Tour International’s Vivid Arts TV.

Looking ahead, Mr. Burleigh envisions himself focusing on his work as a fine artist while continuing to expand his reach through new exhibitions and features, such as a recently released profile in Celebrity Artist Magazine.
