Sasha Gill Rezmer, Suzuki Piano Teacher and Kindermusik Educator at Music with Ms. Sasha, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Artists for dedication, achievements, and leadership in Music Education.

Throughout a distinguished career spanning two decades, Ms. Gill Rezmer has established herself as an expert in the Suzuki piano method and early childhood music instruction. Since 2023, she has managed her own business, Music with Ms. Sasha, where she oversees all internal studio operations and marketing with the support of a marketing specialist. Her daily responsibilities include organizing Kindermusik classes for young children, enrolling students, handling communications, preparing instructional instruments and teaching private piano lessons into the evening hours. Between these sessions, Ms. Gill Rezmer manages the administrative aspects of her business, reflecting her commitment to both educational excellence and operational efficiency.

Ms. Gill Rezmer’s decision to launch her own studio followed years of teaching for other institutions and independently. She recognized the need to unify her efforts under one cohesive venture, particularly to expand access to Kindermusik and Suzuki piano education in her community. Ms. Gill Rezmer’s vision included securing a dedicated physical studio space for group classes and cultivating a broader network of educators trained in the Suzuki method, especially given her unique status as the only Suzuki piano teacher in her region.

Before founding Music with Ms. Sasha, Ms. Gill Rezmer maintained a robust private teaching practice that began in 2007 while holding several concurrent roles. During this time, she also served as an upper school choral director at Sugar Hill Christian Academy in Georgia from 2018 to 2022, where she initially taught preschool music between 2017 and 2022. As part of her commitments, Ms. Gill Rezmer balanced her independent studio work with institutional teaching commitments and paused Kindermusik instruction due to scheduling demands.

Between 2017 and 2021, Ms. Gill Rezmer also taught Kindermusik classes through Kindermusik International in Suwanee, Georgia. Earlier, from 2015 to 2021, she taught Suzuki piano at Suwanee Academy of the Arts, where she gained expertise in this specialized approach that treats music learning similarly to language acquisition.

Notably, Ms. Gill Rezmer’s introduction to Kindermusik began around 2014 when she was inspired by a fellow educator at her daughter’s ballet class to pursue accreditation and begin teaching classes for young children. Her earliest professional experience dates back to 2007 in Seattle, Washington, where she began teaching Suzuki piano while still an undergraduate student at the University of Washington. Throughout her career journey, Ms. Gill Rezmer has consistently maintained a private studio alongside institutional roles.

Beyond music education, Ms. Gill Rezmer held positions as a special event planner at Magic Moments LLC from 2015 to 2016, following a similar role at Panache: An Event Company between 2014 and 2015. She also worked in this capacity at A Divine Event from 2014 to 2015 and contributed as a director II for Work At Home United — Melaleuca between 2011 and 2014. Earlier still, Ms. Gill Rezmer provided freelance translation and interpretation services through Ghetie Translations from 2009 to 2013.

Academically accomplished, Ms. Gill Rezmer earned two bachelor’s degrees from the University of Washington in Seattle in 2009, one in European studies with a focus on Eastern Europe and Russia and another in Eastern European languages, literatures and cultures. These academic pursuits were influenced by a high school wrist injury that temporarily derailed her performance ambitions but did not diminish her dedication to music education. To further support her professional growth and business development, Ms. Gill Rezmer has held multiple Suzuki certifications since 2016 as well as official educator accreditation from Kindermusik International. She also earned a professional certificate in 2021 and completed an advanced professional certificate in general music studies in 2022 from Berklee College of Music in Boston.

A hallmark of Ms. Gill Rezmer’s career is her deep engagement with professional organizations and leadership within the global music education community. She is an active member of the Suzuki Association of the Americas and the Suzuki Association of South Florida. Before relocating to Florida for her husband’s career opportunity in St. Augustine, Ms. Gill Rezmer served as a piano representative on the board of directors for the Suzuki Association of Georgia until 2026. In addition to these roles, she has contributed on an international scale as a member of the Kindermusik SoundBoard since 2024, helping address educator concerns and organize conferences.

Ms. Gill Rezmer’s civic involvement extends to faith-based service. She is a devoted member of the Orthodox Christian Mission Center and contributor to various church ministries. The performing arts also remain central to Ms. Gill Rezmer’s personal interests. She actively supports her children’s participation in musical theater productions and youth programs, such as seasonal Shakespeare performances, often collaborating directly by serving as accompanist or traveling back to Atlanta, Georgia, each summer for intensive programs at the Shakespeare Tavern.

Recognized through several notable honors during her career, Ms. Gill Rezmer received the Mary Gates Endowment from the University of Washington in 2008 for her musical contributions, was awarded the Chair Award by Suwanee Academy of the Arts in 2018 and was selected for an international Educator Spotlight by Kindermusik International in 2023. Additionally, in 2025, Ms. Gill Rezmer was featured in Voyage ATL Magazine. She attributes much of her success to an enduring passion for music that inspires those around her, a quality that has shaped both her teaching style and leadership within industry circles.

Ms. Gill Rezmer distinguishes herself through her unwavering passion for nurturing each student’s unique abilities from an early age. Her philosophy is rooted in the principles of the Suzuki method, believing that every child possesses an innate capacity to learn when given proper guidance and encouragement. Ms. Gill Rezmer emphasizes holistic development over competition or comparison among students and strives to create a positive example for those she teaches.

Looking ahead, Ms. Gill Rezmer is committed to expanding access to Suzuki piano education by building a vibrant local community of instructors and students alike, addressing historical shortages within this field while fostering musical excellence across generations. Her legacy is deeply rooted not only in professional achievement but also in family tradition. Inspired by generations before, Ms. Gill Rezmer continues this lineage through both music education and meaningful community impact.
