Nancy Lee Noble Zorick, Actress and Artist, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Artists for dedication, achievements, and leadership in painting and theatre.
The arts have always coursed through Ms. Zorick’s blood, and she followed in the footsteps of her father, who was a commercial artist. Growing up, he allowed Ms. Zorick to experiment with his colored pencils which launched her intrigue into the industry. On top of her career in painting using realistic oils and watercolors, Ms. Zorick was an actor, starring in movies and television prior to retiring. She first started out in plays in Chicago before transitioning to camera work. Some of her most notable acting works was starring alongside Tommy Lee Jones in “Jackson County Jail” and its sequel “Outside Chance.” Ms. Zorick also had parts on “The Young and the Restless” and “A.E.S. Hudson Street.”
In the present day, Ms. Zorick fulfills her time with painting and teaching art. She also co-hosts a podcast with her husband Mike, “The Nancy & Mike Show,” with Bold Brave Media. In addition to the podcast, she has illustrated his autobiography, “Making Weight,” which chronicles his life as a blind wrestler. In fact, Ms. Zorick met her husband through volunteer work when she had become a reader for him. She also accompanied him on his training for the national trials of Greco-Roman wrestling. Ms. Zorick studied art at The Art Institute of Chicago, Second City, and The American Academy of Art, as well as under her mentor George Soto.
