Annie Minogue, founder, songwriter, and lead singer of the Annie Minogue Band has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Artists for dedication, achievements, and leadership in music.
With years of experience to her credit, Ms. Minogue has excelled as founder, songwriter, and lead singer of the Annie Minogue Band. The band’s driving and energizing sound, which combines a daring rock and pop sensibility with a hint of the blues, is reminiscent of some of rock’s greatest icons. The lineup consists of Nick Saya on drums, Nunzio Signore on guitar and vocals, Brian Karp on bass, Kendall Scott on keyboards, and Annie Minogue on lead vocals.
Ms. Minogue’s band has toured both nationally and regionally and shared the stage with such iconic artists as Blues Traveler, The Smithereens, David Lee Roth, Chris Whitley, Dave Navarro, Black Eyed Peas, Soul Asylum, Los Lobos, The Fabulous Thunderbirds, Eric Gales and numerous others. Their craft for songwriting, along with her powerfully expressive voice and the band’s dynamic rock influences, have given the group firm roots within the music world. Their music has been featured on film, radio, and media broadcasters such as Netflix, Lifetime Television, Sony Television, MSNBC, MTV, CBS, CW, WB, and the A&E Television Networks. Ms. Minogue’s music has been specifically featured on television shows “Dawson’s Creek” and “Strong Medicine”, as well as regional radio stations and the independent feature film “Out of the Black.”
Ms. Minogue is also the co-creator and executive producer of two popular concert series: “Fair Play,” a concert series sponsored by City Winery that benefits the Bronx Immigration Partnership, and “It’s All Relative,” a family show presented by The Bitter End. Beyond her responsibilities within the field, Ms. Minogue has participated in numerous endeavors outside of her professional circles. She contributed as a supporter to the Bronx Immigration Partnership and her band donated proceeds to relief in Maui after the 2023 wildfire.
In addition to her primary vocation, Ms. Minogue remains affiliated with various organizations in relation to her areas of expertise. She is a member of the Screen Actors Guild- American Federation of Television and Radio Artists, the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers, and the Recording Academy. She is a lifetime GRAMMY member and mentor. Among her many achievements, Ms. Minogue along with her band have accrued several accolades throughout her career. The band’s song “Sandbox” reached number one on the World Indie Radio Charts and number two on the European Indie Radio Charts and was awarded Best Rock Song at the World Songwriting Awards in 2021.
