Morevoer, Mr. Soofi’s clients have included the likes of Lifetime and Hallmark, for whom he has produced scripted romance films and unscripted documentary feature films.

During his tenure at Qube Film, Mr. Soofi was the executive producer of “Transparency” in 2010, which was nominated for the Best Feature Length Drama Award at the Leo Awards in 2011. He was also the director and co-producer of the 2021 documentary “The Author,” which garnered awards from The Impact Docs Awards, the IndieFEST Film Awards, LGBTQ Unbordered Film Festival, the Hong Kong Indie Film Festival, and the New York Independent Cinema Awards, among many other accolades. Mr. Soofi was also active as the producer of “The Art of Passion” and “A Dangerous Affair” in 2022, the director and executive producer of the award-nominated documentary “Women of Iran” in 2024, the associate producer for “I Was Octomom: The Natalie Suleman Story” in 2025, and the executive producer of “Ice Breaking” in 2025.

Among Mr. Soofi’s most notable accomplishments with Qube was the documentary “Voices of Haiti.” For this project, he traveled to the country to facilitate the journey of 25 children who performed at a concert with Andrea Bocelli at Radio City Music Hall in New York City. He considers this documentary to be a career highlight, driven by his deep respect for Andrea Bocelli and the foundation’s mission, as well as his passion for the project’s message and purpose.

Mr. Soofi’s creative output encompasses several acclaimed projects. In addition to his role as the director of “Voices of Haiti,” where he brought international attention to the resilience of Haitian youth through music and documentary film, he is credited as the writer of the film script “The Journey to Happiness,” which was nominated for 40 awards and is currently available on Amazon Prime.

Earlier in his career, Mr. Soofi’s work accrued multiple honors, including being selected as a winner by judges at the Zoom 48-hour Student Film Festival in 2003 while in high school. He was also presented with a scholarship to the Vancouver Film School as a testament to his talent, from which he obtained degrees in film production and 3D animation in 2004 and 2005, respectively. He was also a winner of Kodak’s One Minute Motion Picture Film at the Vancouver International Film Festival.

Among other professional opportunities, Mr. Soofi previously served as the creative director at ZooomBox Entertainment Ltd. in Vancouver, Canada, from 2010 to 2013. Since 2013, he has been additionally active as a partner in TR Digital at Talent Resources, where he has contributed to the company’s digital strategy and creative direction.

Mr. Soofi’s academic background has played a significant role in shaping his professional trajectory. He earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in cinematography and film from Simon Fraser University in 2012, equipping him with advanced technical knowledge and artistic sensibility. These credentials provided him with a comprehensive understanding of both traditional filmmaking techniques and emerging digital technologies. In addition to his formal education, Mr. Soofi obtained a certification in entrepreneurship from the school of engineering at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 2018, which enhanced his business acumen and entrepreneurial mindset, enabling him to navigate the evolving landscape of media production with agility.

Apart from his work-related endeavors, Mr. Soofi’s civic engagement includes serving as a sponsor for Chernobyl Children International, reflecting a commitment to humanitarian causes beyond his professional endeavors.
