Joe Frank Howard, BFA, Artist, Painter, and Sculptor, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Artists for dedication, achievements, and leadership.
Mr. Howard is a professional artist of such works as the sculpture “March to Freedom.” For his artistry, he earned an Achievement Award from the National Afro-American Museum and Cultural Center in 2019, a Second Place Award from the same institution in 2017, a Best Wildlife Award from the International Guild of Realism in 2017, and an Artists’ Choice Award from the Western Artists of America in 2012. Mr. Howard has been featured on radio, TV shows, and numerous local and national media outlets. In preparation for his career, he graduated from the Columbus College of Art & Design.
Mr. Howard is a member of the Western Artists of America, the International Guild of Realism, and the Ohio Watercolor Society. His artistic areas of expertise include sculpting, painting, and depicting the human form and rural America. Collectors of his works include Conway Twitty, Deion Sanders, and Alex Haley. Among his work, Mr. Howard is proudest of “March to Freedom,” which was inspired by his own experiences. He has been an artist for his entire life, and in the coming years, he hopes to keep creating paintings and sculptures and expressing himself. In his spare time, Mr. Howard enjoys fishing and spending time in nature.
