Music Productions has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Artists for dedication, achievements, and leadership in Music Performance and Productions.

Mr. Daniels has established a distinguished career in the music industry and business leadership, marked by a series of influential roles and creative achievements. Self-employed in the music performance and production sectors since the early 1990s, he has served as both the chief executive officer of Songflight SSAAR and R.A.D. Productions in Virginia Beach, Virginia, where he has focused on recording, production, music arrangement, lyrics and other aspects of the industry.

In addition to his contributions to SSAAR and R.A.D. Productions, Mr. Daniels has served as the chief executive officer of Ball-90 Productions in Virginia Beach, overseeing operations and guiding the company’s strategic direction since 2012. He has also become recognized for his work as an assistant production manager at E.S.F. Music Productions since 2012. Headquartered in Piscataway, New Jersey, Mr. Daniels supports the organization by providing his expertise in music arranging, composition and various musical instruments, such as guitar, drums and keyboard.

Mr. Daniels’s professional journey is deeply rooted in performance and collaboration. From 1978 to 1980, he performed as a musician with Parliament-Funkadelic, working alongside founding members Eddie Hazel and Bernie Worrell. This period was pivotal in shaping his musical style and expertise. Before this, he co-founded Black Pearl in 1976 with Myles Parham, Robert Johnson and PJaye Scott, performing at renowned venues like the Apollo Theater and the Boston Coliseum until 1981. Between 1973 and 1976, Mr. Daniels co-founded Emotional Sounds of Funk with Richard Dunn, Albert Blair and Myles Parham, performing throughout New Jersey and along the East Coast.

Mr. Daniels’s early musical development was influenced by his participation in The Soul Emotions, a band he joined in sixth grade under the instruction of Thomas Parker. The group performed at local venues and schools for approximately a year before disbanding.

In addition to his music career, Mr. Daniels has held positions outside the entertainment industry that reflect his versatility and dedication to service. He worked for the U.S. Postal Service for nearly two decades and spent an additional year with the United Parcel Service of America Inc. Mr. Daniels’s commitment to public safety was evident through his involvement in the local fire and police departments.

Following his tenure with Parliament-Funkadelic, Mr. Daniels entered military service with the U.S. Navy from 1983 to 1986. After completing his service, he focused on raising his children while continuing to build his professional portfolio through collaborations with artists such as PJaye Scott on a Millie Jackson song and contributing to an album with Children of the Phunk under EMI Records with Davitt Sigerson.

Mr. Daniels’s educational background included coursework in business and corporate communications at Bryant & Stratton College in Virginia Beach as well as studies in music theory and composition at Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey. Although he did not complete a formal degree program, he credits his academic pursuits with providing foundational knowledge that supported his success across multiple disciplines.

As part of his professional commitments, Mr. Daniels maintains active memberships in several professional organizations, including the American Musician Association, the American Federation of Musicians, the Independent Musicians Union and BMI. Beyond his professional endeavors, he is civically engaged as a volunteer musician for various churches and has participated in clothing drives throughout Virginia. Mr. Daniels also spent several years as a member of the New Horizon Gospel Singing Group.

In addition to his contributions to Children of the Phunk early on in his career, Mr. Daniels’s creative output recently included three of his songs being released on Spotify in 2026. This stands as a testament to his ongoing success and longevity in the field.

Mr. Daniels attributes his early interest in music largely to his parents; his father was a professional drummer and piano player who collaborated with jazz artists, while his mother performed as a singer with The Platters. This rich musical heritage saw Mr. Daniels learning to play the guitar at age 8 before expanding his skills to include clarinet and drums during elementary school.

Mr. Daniels has attributed much of his success to the support of mentors, teachers and friends’ families who embraced him during challenging times. He also believes that learning from diverse cultures instilled confidence and reinforced the importance of effort over recognition. Looking ahead, Mr. Daniels remains committed to inspiring others by demonstrating that perseverance can lead to meaningful accomplishment regardless of life’s challenges. Motivated by his children’s encouragement throughout his journey, he seeks to show that effort and resilience are essential for overcoming adversity and achieving success in any pursuit.
