Alex Harris Ed.D., Chief Executive Officer of the Arts Conservatory for Teens,  has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Artists for dedication, achievements, and leadership in youth mentorship.

With more than one decade of professional experience in youth mentorship in the arts, Mr. Harris has most recently excelled as the CEO of the Arts Conservatory for Teens since 2012. Additionally, he has served the role of executive creative coach and consultant of the Tree Oak Doors Enterprise, LLC since 2005. Prior to these appointments, he flourished as a lecturer and artist in residence at the University of South Florida, St. Petersburg from 2012 to 2018. In the past, he held executive roles with the Boys and Girls Academy and acted as a consultant for the Boston University School of Theology, as well as the American Heart Association.

As CEO of the Arts Conservatory for Teens, Mr. Harris is responsible for assisting teens in filling out applications and auditioning for advanced level musical training. Currently, he has about 20 students per class, with six classes running virtually, simultaneously. Essentially, he helps children and teens step their way into the entertainment workforce by establishing their career paths and brewing their developmental skills.

A graduate of LaGrange College, Mr. Harris notably received a Bachelor of Science in human services. Soon thereafter, he earned a Master of Social Work from the Boston University School of Social Work, further extending his graduate studies in adolescent counseling with a focus on ethics at Harvard University. Moreover, he secured a Master of Theology in theological studies from Boston University, before concluding his academic efforts with a Doctor of Education in organizational leadership from Nova Southeastern University.

Achievements to Mr. Harris’ credit include his musical group, A7, being featured on the Top 20 Billboard Chart for their hit song, “Don’t Walk Away,” which was labeled as an urban inspiration within the gospel genre. He is also proud to have launched the Arts Conservatory for Teens and has had one of his former students appear on Good Morning America. For his accomplishments in the field, Mr. Harris was the recipient of the Shackelford Award from LaGrange College, was included in the Bloomberg Harvard initiative and was nominated for a 40 Under 40 acknowledgment. Looking toward the future, Mr. Harris has signed a record deal with Cross The Line LTD/Orchard-Sony Music and will create songs as a solo artist. Additionally, he aspires to work on a Netflix project dedicated to his work with teens and his musical talents.
